Message stuff before my computer at work booted me. I think there are a few things that you can do to insure the testing equipment doesnt pick up on the high levels emissions your engine is producing. The first tip is to go first thing in the morning, the reason for this is that when the air is cooler it is denser (sp.?) or thicker so to speak. What this does is change your air fuel ratio. We all know why larger intercoolers are preferred. If you could see the air molecules cold air has more than hot air for a given volume. Therefore your chances of passing in the morning are greater than the middle of the day if the engine is borderline. #2 tip. Check your timing and make sure it's at the factory recommended setting of 15'. This is the ideal timing point at which the engine was designed and it will run most efficiently for testing purposes at that setting. Tip #3. I see from your profile that your precats are gutted and you have test pipes installed. Try to find a set of main cats and install them for the test. This will insure you pass. The main cat when at operating temp will completely burn or remove the remaining unburnt fuel that the test equipment is sensing. Good Luck
